Nationwide LTL Pallet Shipping
For customers outside driving distance, Store Pallets ships single and multi-pallet orders across all 48 contiguous United States via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) common carriers (including FedEx Freight, R+L Carriers, Estes, Saia, and TQL Freight).
- Skid Preparation: Every pallet is stacked securely, wrapped in industrial-grade stretch film, and banded to standard wooden skids to prevent shifting during transit.
- PRO Tracking Number: Once the freight carrier scans your shipment onto their truck at our Newark dock, a tracking number (PRO#) and carrier Bill of Lading (BOL) are emailed to you.
- F.O.B. Origin: All freight shipments are sold F.O.B. Warehouse Dock. Title and risk of transit loss transfer to the buyer upon carrier receipt.

Commercial vs. Residential Delivery Definitions
Freight carriers categorize delivery destinations strictly based on equipment and facility access. It is critical to declare your exact destination type when requesting a shipping quote:
- Commercial Delivery with Dock / Forklift: Applicable only if your facility has a dedicated 48"–52" tractor-trailer loading dock or an on-site forklift capable of unloading a 1,000+ lb skid directly from the rear of the dry van.
- Residential / Home Garage Delivery: Homes, apartments, and businesses operating in residential zones require a Liftgate and Delivery Appointment Call. The carrier uses a hydraulic lift to lower the pallet to the curb or driveway.
- Limited Access Locations: Self-storage units, schools, churches, farms, construction sites, and military installations are classified by carriers as limited access and incur specialized handling fees.
Avoid Re-Delivery Charges:
If you order commercial delivery without having a dock or forklift on site, the carrier will return the pallet to their local terminal and assess redelivery and liftgate surcharges before completing delivery.
04
53ft Dedicated Full Truckloads (FTL)
Volume buyers, bin store chains, and regional wholesalers purchasing full 53-foot dry van truckloads receive dedicated point-to-point freight:
- Capacity: Typically holds 24 to 26 tall pallets (or up to 52 double-stacked pallets depending on origin retailer loading configurations).
- Direct Dispatch: Truckloads travel directly from the originating retailer distribution center or our Newark hub straight to your dock with zero terminal cross-dock transfers.
- Unloading Detention: Receivers are allotted two (2) free hours for unloading upon truck arrival. Detention charges assessed by the carrier thereafter are the responsibility of the receiver.

Mandatory Delivery Day Bill of Lading (BOL) Inspection
To ensure you are protected against transit damage caused by third-party freight carriers, follow these mandatory three steps upon delivery:
Step 1
Inspect Before Signing
Do not sign any driver handheld device or paper BOL until you have inspected the shrink-wrap on all sides.
Step 2
Write Exception on BOL
If shrink-wrap is torn, re-taped, or the pallet is leaning, write "DAMAGED SHRINK-WRAP / TIPPED SKID" on the BOL.
Step 3
Photograph Immediately
Take clear photos while the pallet is still on the truck bed and email them to sales@storepallets.store within 24 hours.
Carrier Liability Warning:
Signing the Bill of Lading without noting visual damage legally certifies that you received the shipment in good condition. Carriers will instantly deny any subsequent claim if the BOL is signed clean.
